Things Toddlers Say

Lately, MageeBoy has been very inquisitive about how things die. Like fire. Or bugs that we have found that haven't "made it". Today, he asked again what happened when things die. We told him that hearts start beating. Then he asked, "Why?" and slow blinked those big blue eyes. So MageeDaddy explained that the heart pumps blood through our bodies and gives us oxygen and nutrients to keep us alive. MageeBoy sat for a minute thinking about all of this. Then MageeDaddy explained that nutrients come from the food we eat and our body makes these to put in our blood. MageeBoy replied, "Are there hot dogs in our blood?!" LOL
